Fathers. The guy who needs little recognition. You all shape boys into men. Help transform little princesses into queens. I’d be remiss if I let this holiday pass without giving a few suggestions for what to bless this guy with that imparted so much into our lives. I hope my future kids, wife, and good friends have a list this awesome to turn to when they need ideas for me other than a World’s Best Dad mug and some unneeded contraption by Black & Decker. This list is for you. For your father. For your husband. For your buddy who just had a baby. There’s something for all types of dads.
Please note: There are no pieces of clothes on here. If that father figure wants clothes, tell him to visit Men’s Style Point on his own time. That’s a gift within itself. lol

1. Stubble & ‘Stache Beard Care Starter Kit
This gift is tried and true. I’ve been using the Stubble & ‘Stache face moisturizer and beard conditioner for about a month now and I see clear improvements in my skin and beard softness. And it smells like “take yo girl!”. It’s not an overpowering smell but you will immediately understand how to chop wood and change any tire. If dad doesn’t have a beard, he should. End of story. stubbleandstache.com
2. Crosley 3-speed Turntable
If your pop is that guy who frequently says “what you know about this right here?” when he hears that one Stevie Wonder song he just happens to know all the lyrics to, then this is the gift for him. He can jam out to his oldies in his man-cave or annoy the millennials at the next family cookout with this portable USB capable turntable. And yes Dad, I do know about this right here.
3. Cedar Shoe Valet
For the dad who takes great pride in his appearance. A good shoe shine to a man is like a pedicure to a woman. Pops shouldn’t have to go to the shoe shine guys downtown every time he wants a touch-up. This home kit will do him just well. And guys, if you’re not shining your shoes, you’re losing.
5. Rocky Patel Edge Sumatra Toro Cigars
This is a great gift for the son who wants to bond with dad in grown up fashion. And invite your boy who just had a kid….he will appreciate the bonding because he has to wait a couple decades to do this with junior.
6. The Buck G-10/110 Locking Blade
As my pocket knife aficionado friend, Danny, says “This is an American classic updated with modern materials. This was the foot knife for all the dads in boy scout.” This quote alone is reason to bless dad with this gorgeous piece of manliness.
7. Herschel Supply Co. Novel Weekender Bag
Ladies, your husband can drop that old (insert his favorite football team) duffle bag and trade it in for something more stylish and less telling of how he spends his Sunday afternoons. Those shoes he shined have their own compartment…so there’s plenty of room for the overflow that is your belongings, darling.
8. ESPN 30 For 30 Box Set
Doesn’t matter if he’s into sports or not. He needs this. Documentaries that will leave you breathless. From the superhero that is Bo Jackson and Reggie Miller vs. The Knicks to a doc highlighting a particular Colombian drug lord and his connection to pro soccer. He will be immensely entertained and informed. And if he’s seen these, he’ll want to see them again. Trust.
9. Daniel Wellington Watch
this gift right here is reserved for the new dad, or the old dad who lacks the sartorial basics. The classic design of this watch makes it great for every occasion. The patriarch in your family will get your money’s worth out of this gift.
10. American Whiskey, Bourbon & Rye by Clay Risen
Your Pa likes whiskey. He knows his stuff. Don’t run out and get him a bourbon you saw on a commercial last week. He’ll appreciate it but his palate will be disappointed. Grab this book instead. It’ll do two things. It’ll show that you have taken some kind of interest in something that is his. And it just may introduce him to his new favorite rye.
Hope this helps. Hurry up and buy!!!
Happy Father’s Day, Dad! You’re my hero. Love ya!
Fresh Prince’s dad, Lou and my dad.
